This project proposes a theoretical investigation into the existence of a shared identity among the so-called "second world" countries, the intermediate space between center and periphery. The research will address how this identity can influence political, economic, and cultural relations between Russia and Latin America, analyzing historical, social, and ideological aspects that shape these interactions. Starting from the concept of global majority, we will explore how the construction of a multipolar world can offer new opportunities for cooperation and development for these nations, challenging traditional hegemonic narratives and promoting a more equitable dialogue between regional blocs. The cases of Brazil and Russia will be analyzed in depth, with the aim of comparing the possibilities of identity rapprochement between the two countries, taking into account their historical trajectories, foreign policies, and social dynamics. The research will employ a qualitative approach, involving document analysis and a review of the existing literature on the subject. Additionally, the impacts of current international policies will be considered, as well as how they affect mutual perceptions and collaboration between these nations. In the end, it is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of Russia-Latin America relations and offer recommendations to strengthen these ties in the context of a multipolar world.
