    Saint-Petersburg State University is holding the Third Saint Petersburg Congress of International Studies "Global and Regional Challenges in the Changing World". The event is an expert platform aimed at bringing together representatives of the most respected academic schools in international relations from Russia and around the world. Its fundamental goal is to exchange the most significant results of fundamental and applied research on current issues in global politics, as well as to develop a strategic vision for global and regional development. 

    The relevance of the Congress stems from the urgent need for open professional dialogue amid a profound systemic crisis and the painful transformation of the entire architecture of international relations, as humanity faces a complex set of interconnected challenges in the areas of security, economics, ecology, technology, and social development, requiring the consolidation of the intellectual efforts of the global academic community. The event meets the highest standards in terms of geographic representation, bringing together experts from all continents, academic stature, heads of research institutes, deans of leading faculties, and scientific authority, focusing on the discussion of groundbreaking work shaping the discipline's modern paradigm.

    The registration fee for participation in the Congress is:

    - In-person speakers and co-presenters — 2000 Russian rubles

    - Foreign in-person participants — 2000 Russian rubles

    - Virtual speakers (by the approval of the Programme Committee) — 2000 Russian rubles

    - Young researchers without a scientific degree (up to the age of 35) — 1000 Russian rubles

    - Undergraduate (bachelor) and graduate (master) students — 500 Russian rubles

  • Мероприятия конгресса пройдут на русском или английском языке, в отдельных случаях на двух языках с синхронным переводом.

    Конгресс будет проводиться преимущественно в очном формате. Программный комитет оставляет за собой право в исключительных случаях включать в программу докладчиков и слушателей в онлайн формате.

    Издание сборника тезисов по итогам конгресса не планируется.

    Возврат организационного взноса может быть осуществлен на позднее, чем за 15 дней до начала мероприятия, исключения составляют обстоятельства непреодолимой силы.

     

    Congress events will be held in Russian or English, and in some cases, in both languages ​​with simultaneous translation.

    The Congress will be held primarily in person. The Program Committee reserves the right, in exceptional circumstances, to include speakers and attendees online.

    There are no plans to publish a collection of abstracts following the Congress.

    Refunds of the registration fee may be made no later than 15 days before the start of the event, except in cases of force majeure.
