The “Problems of Geocosmos” conference with international participation has been held every 2 years by the Department of Earth Physics of St. Petersburg State University since 1996. It covers current issues in the physics of the Earth and solar-terrestrial connections. Since 2016 the conference has been supplemented by a school where eminent researchers present lectures on cutting-edge problems of geosciences.
Saint-Petersburg State University is holding the Third Saint Petersburg Congress of International Studies "Global and Regional Challenges in the Changing World". The event is an expert platform aimed at bringing together representatives of the most respected academic schools in international relations from Russia and around the world. Its fundamental goal is to exchange the most significant results of fundamental and applied research on current issues in global politics, as well as to develop a strategic vision for global and regional development.

The annual conference “Science Present and Future: Research Landscape in the 21st century” is organized to discuss recent developments in both theoretical and applied areas, to create the knowledge exchange platform and stimulate discussion on key interdisciplinary issues. During the Conference, participants will present papers in English in such areas as Earth Sciences, Solar Physics, Geography, Linguistics, Pedagogy, Chemistry, Information Technology, Energy, Mathematics, Biology and Linguodidactics.
The Nineteenth International Conference on Game Theory and Management (GTM2026), a three-day conference, will be held in Saint Petersburg, Russia on July 1–3, 2026.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations on a wide range of game-theoretic models, both theory and applications, including management applications.
The conference is organized by Saint Petersburg State University (Graduate School of Management, Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Control Processes), the International Society of Dynamic Games (Russian Chapter) and will be held in person.
In 2026, it will be the 95th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Danilovich Nozdrachev, an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, an Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, and an Honorary Professor at St. Petersburg State University. Academician A. D. Nozdrachev is one of the foremost domestic physiologists who successfully combined scientific work at the Pavlov Institute of Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences with leading the scientific and teaching activities of the Department of General Physiology, one of the oldest departments at St. Petersburg State University. A. D. Nozdrachev's scientific research focused on studying the neural and hormonal mechanisms that ensure adaptation at the cellular and systemic levels in the bodies of animals and humans. His work has made a significant contribution to the field of physiology dedicated to the organization and functioning of the autonomic nervous system. A. D. Nozdrachev's scientific interests were broad, encompassing not only the physiology of the autonomic nervous system but also the physiology of the heart, respiratory system, processes of interoception, and issues of central regulation of internal organ functions. A. D. Nozdrachev also paid special attention in his work to the history of domestic physiology and the scientific heritage of Ivan Petrovich Pavlov. The National Scientific Conference dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Academician Alexander Danilovich Nozdrachev’s birth will be held from November 17 to 20, 2026, in St. Petersburg, at the St. Petersburg State University and the Pavlov Institute of Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The conference aims to discuss the current state of research on a wide range of physiological issues, analyze new concepts, and identify directions that will shape the future development of this scientific field.
