The “Problems of Geocosmos” conference with international participation has been held every 2 years by the Department of Earth Physics of St. Petersburg State University since 1996. It covers current issues in the physics of the Earth and solar-terrestrial connections. Since 2016 the conference has been supplemented by a school where eminent researchers present lectures on cutting-edge problems of geosciences.
Saint-Petersburg State University is holding the Third Saint Petersburg Congress of International Studies "Global and Regional Challenges in the Changing World".
