THE RESULTS OF CALCULATIONS OF THE GAS DYNAMIC MODEL OF THE CIRCULATION OF THE EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE

The report discusses the results of numerical modelingobtained using a gas-dynamicmodel of the general circulation of the Earth's atmosphere createdat the Polar GeophysicalInstitute. The formation of vortex flows of different scales, verticaltransport at differentheights, as well as the mechanisms of generation of internal gravitationalwaves andtheir propagationare analyzed.All calculationswere in the altitude range of 0-80km, withfull consideration of radiation heating-cooling of air, cloudformation and interactionwith the Earth's surface, and with a step of the calculated gridalong the horizon of 15/64degrees.
